I wrote two novellas (Loving Sara; a Simple Love Story and Sweet Girls) a few years ago. I didn’t put much effort into marketing them; sharing with family and friends was my satisfaction.
After my second book, my aunt V said, “God has been preparing you for your third book.”
At the time, I wasn’t thinking about another book. So, I didn’t give much thought to her words. Actually, I wasn’t in a place to receive the words spoken to me.
About a year and a half later, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Still, I had no plans of writing another book, especially not one involving details of my personal life. But my sister insisted I write about my journey. According to her, the story wasn’t about me. It was about giving God the glory. So, I surrendered and shared my laughter and tears. My third book, Seriously God, Am I That Girl?, came to be because I was blessed to be alive.
Talk to you soon!
